There are some houses and other buildings left, that still bear the marks and influences of previous generations. They may be crumbling or suffering in various ways, but they speak to me of the hopes and aspirations of those that preceded us.This is a blog devoted to showing some of the sites and scenes, as seen through my pen.

A rendering of the Drill Hall in Oudtshoorn in water colour. The intensity of light in the Little Karoo makes me want to grab the brushes and paint and forget about time and every day's niggles and worries.
